As a photographer for Bolloré Digital, I had the opportunity to spend an afternoon with migrants in Stalingrad, Paris, documenting their end of Ramadan celebrations. This assignment allowed me to immerse myself in their community, establish genuine human connections, and witness the rich traditions and festivities that unfolded.
During the visit, I was warmly welcomed by the migrants, who graciously invited me to join their celebrations. Together, we shared meals, exchanged stories, and engaged in conversations that transcended language barriers. This experience provided me with a unique perspective and a deeper understanding of their culture and experiences.
Through my lens, I captured the vibrant atmosphere, the joyous gatherings, and the heartfelt moments shared among the migrants. The photographs portray the diversity of the community, the colorful attire, and the genuine smiles that reflected a sense of unity and resilience.
I aimed to capture the nuances of their rituals, from the preparations of traditional dishes to the shared prayers and breaking of the fast. Each photograph tells a story of faith, togetherness, and the strength found in celebrating cultural heritage even in unfamiliar surroundings.
